okie so this was unexpected. I need your help, guys, if you can.

For the past year, my mom’s kind of been in and out of the docs a lot because they could never diagnose the pain she’d get in her abdomen and things like that. She finally found a doctor that would actually look at her symptoms and her body and not be held back by her lack of insurance coverage. It turns out she’s got a tumor and cysts on her uterus and ovaries.

Her uterus has swollen to 2.5x the size of a normal woman’s. She has to have a hysterectomy in a week and a half and they’re going to be taking out the whole set. They also have to do reconstructive surgery on the inner lining of her vagina and other parts of her body because they’re starting to fall apart. It’s like the muscles have given up or something. She’s only 51, she just started menopause a year and a half ago.

So I’m worried. I want to be there for her surgery and recovery because my brothers are NOT caretakers. My older brother is always working and my little brother is more focused on his own life than my mother’s. My dad works all the time as well so there won’t be anyone there to help her during the recovery process.

I just need money for a plane ticket, guys. If any of you could help out, that’d be fucking AMAZING. Every little bit helps, and I’m also open for fic commissions. I’m behind right now so it will be a while before you could get the story but I always send an outline of your story before I ask for payment.

can we appreciate when Scott detoured to get the children (and didn’t tell Derek so he wouldn’t know that Boyd, who he was responsible for, nearly killed two kids) and he told Derek about it, instead of getting angry Derek just kind of said ‘that wasn’t part of the plan’ but you could sense his frustration because his voice kind of cracked during it. he still managed to not flip out and yell at Scott and make Scott get defensive and yell back.
